Clamboating Deer Creek

This past weekend Carson and I were invited to go clamboating (camping on a boat) at Deer Creek with our friends Caylen and Lexi.

We love Caylen and Lexi.

and we love boating. so YES.

We had such a fun night cruising around the lake in the moonlight.

Having a bonfire on the beach with s'mores and catching up with good friends.

We anchored the boat and fell asleep in the middle of the lake to waves rocking us like little babies and star gazing.

We woke up all crammed together in the back of the boat and we wouldn't have had it any other way.

The perks of sleeping on boat is that there is NO lag time between play time!

Carson spent no time jumping in the water and getting a good wakeboard session in early in the morning.

Lexi and I ran to Kneaders to grab everyone breakfast while the boys stayed and played.

if you have not tried the french toast from Kneaders... you NEED it in your life.

and it's unlimited... so GO!

^^ Lexi and I were on photographer duty the whole day. We both had these big cameras around our neck and our husbands saying "Did you get any of that??" yupp... all of it..."

^^Ta-Dah! I had the record of surfing the longest without the rope for the day. Carson was obviously so excited in the moment and didn't get 1 pic of that... but had plenty of time to throw giant marshmallows at me while I was out. haha^^

^^ Caylen's dad in his "Coat of many colors" haha this man is the bomb. he will backflip off the boat and jump higher than any of us on the wakeboard.

^^ We had no lunch. but we sure did know how to down a giant bag of sunflower seeds^^

^^fun fact: Carson literally turns into a 2 year old out on the wakeboard. I've never seen him giggle so much. even after taking a few blows to the water. haha ^^

We are all sunkissed now and ready for summer... oh wait... summer is almost over....
