Memorial Day 2015

This year for Memorial Day Carson and I headed down to St. George for some fun in the sun with some of our friends.

It was an adventure weekend full of hiking, camping, and lounging with some of the best company.

We started the morning off eating muffins for breakfast and taking a little hike up Red Reef Trail. It was such a fun hike including a rope and foot holes to climb up the waterfall. I think any hike that includes a rope to climb is instantly a fun hike.

The question of the trip was "So where do you guys want to eat?"
Lets just say we went for the win with our camping food.... and how did we do that? we didn't eat camp food. haha Hello Red Robin for dinner and then back into town for lunch.

We spent the afternoon cliff jumping at Sandhollow and lounging on the beach. or in Carson's words..."Sat on rocks like a bunch of beached seals."

On the way home we took a stop at Kanarraville Falls for our second hike of the day. If you're ever looking for an adventure hike trucking through water, then you will LOVE this hike. The whole hike you will spend walking literally right up the stream. I have always wanted to go to this falls since you always see such amazing pictures of it, so I was glad we finally did it!

As we were hiking back a complete DOWN POUR came in like a wrecking ball and soaked us. I mean SOAKED us! love you too Kanarraville.

Overall, such a fun weekend spent with friends and a break from work wasn't too bad either...

(don't mind all my off centered low quality pictures. I give up trying to fix them. haha)
